I would arrange for parties to be green in theme and spirit from now on. Parties are usually a trash disaster afterwards. So a recycling and waste management agenda should be thought of.

Thank you for your post, especially the one about budgeting our money. Earth friendly stuff are really expensive and sometimes we just make excuses that it costs too much, so thanks for the tips. And how we celebrate earth day in our house is we turn off the electricity for an hour, its actually fun telling stories in the dark.
