Why My Purse is Green

Because I believe…

  • the fastest, most effective way to stop polluters is by pressuring them in the marketplace
  • women can be the world’s most powerful economic and environmental force if we intentionally shift our spending to the best green products and services
  • women have the power right now to solve many of our most serious environmental problems by using our green purses to make a difference
  • women must act – intentionally, collectively, and with the full force of our purse power behind us – if we hope to leave our children and grandchildren a better world.

How Can Reusing One Cup Save 24 Trees?

Here's the clearest explanation I've seen of why it's so important to use a reusable mug, cup or water bottle, courtesy of Shane at Environmental Booty and her client, Factory Direct.

Thanks so much for sharing Factory Direct's message. The more people we can reach with this, the more change we can create. We would love it if restaurants would start offering reusable cups for patrons to purchase and use like Starbucks does. :)

what a great infographic!! I ant to share too!

Thanks for this picture, it really explains a lot to people who still don't understand the importance of going green!

I love this inforgraphic! I have already forwarded this blog to all of my friends and family. It has more of an impact seeing how even just reusing a single cup can have on our environment. People never think they can do something that will have a tangible effect, but small things like this, or reusing a href="">burlap bags at the grocery store, simple water conservation measures can all drastically improve our world's health.
